Visit Acala.
A slower way to experience Bali.
Whether you just come for a drink in our Uma Cafe, stay for two nights or two weeks, we hope Acala becomes a place where you can settle in rather than rush through. There is no schedule to follow and no pressure to “do” Bali. Some guests spend hours reading and just be. Others head out to waterfalls, rice fields or the nearby mountains before returning for a home-cooked dinner. Stay as little or as long as you like.
Stay in the bigger cabin.
A quiet and warm space in the middle of the rice fields. The bigger cabin offers a calm and open space to fully settle in. It comes with a comfortable king size bed, a bed-sofa (1.50×1.05), private ensuite bathroom, and a spacious terrace with endless views over the surrounding nature. Just outside, you’ll find a shared outdoor kitchen, along with fresh drinking water. Coffee and tea are always available for you to prepare on your own. A place to slow down, breathe, and feel at home in the quiet of the north.

Stay in the smaller cabin.
The smaller cabin is a quiet, cozy space. Simple, warm, and close to nature.
It offers a comfortable bed, a private ensuite bathroom, and a small terrace to sit, slow down, and take in the surroundings. Just outside, you’ll find the shared outdoor kitchen, along with fresh drinking water. Coffee and tea are always available – easy, unhurried, part of the rhythm here. A gentle space to rest, reconnect, and be with what is.
More than a place to sleep.
Your stay can be as simple or as full as you’d like it to be.

Around Acala.
Acala sits in the hills of North Bali, surrounded by rice fields, forests and traditional villages. Within a short drive you’ll find hidden waterfalls, volcanic lakes, jungle walks, temples and some of Bali’s quietest landscapes. If you’d like recommendations, we’re always happy to share our favourite places.
Before you arrive.
Acala is intentionally simple. You’ll stay in handcrafted wooden cabins surrounded by nature. Expect birds, frogs, insects and changing weather. Instead of polished perfection, you’ll find character, peace and a place that feels genuinely alive. If that’s what you’re looking for, you’ll probably feel at home here. If you’re unsure which cabin is right for you, traveling with children, interested in yoga or healing sessions, or simply have a question, just send us a message. You’ll most likely be chatting with us before your arrival, and once you’re here you’ll meet Bobby in the garden, Charis in the kitchen, our children running barefoot, our cat and dog, probably some geckos, and whatever else the day bring.
